Kennedy, we are so proud of you for completing first grade! You had a wonderful year and you would always ask us why first grade was so much more fun than kindergarten! I hope your love for school continues! Mrs. Humphries taught you a lot and we plan to continue learning this summer. Your last day of school was officially June 7th but we let your last day be on Monday, June 6th after your awards ceremony. You sang some songs, got your first grade certificate and then we went back to your classroom and you had lots more awards waiting on you! You received the Best Handwriting in First Grade award, Good Citizen Award, Top Reader, Great Story writing, and the High Achiever, Always Doing More Than Expected Award! We couldn't be more proud of you!!! Ya'll had a hotdog cookout on the playground and watched movies the rest of the day! You wanted to stay for all this but have me check you out for early dismissal so that is what we did! I got there around 2 and you told Mrs. Humphries and all your classmates bye and our summer officially began!
