The Color Run

Kennedy and I did our first 5K this fall! She loves to run so when I heard The Color Run was coming to Little Rock I signed us up! She did great!! Only got tired and asked to walk once!

Christmas at Jan Jan's

We celebrated Christmas with Jan Jan last Friday night to jump start our Christmas festivities! The girls are spoiled rotten by their aunts and always get lots of things marked off their list at this event each year!

Laynie's photo shoot in front of Gram's Christmas tree wearing her Circa 1960 red check dress from France! A friend of a friend found a boutique in France and she orders vintage children's clothes from them and adds a special touch. To this one she added the cute little red velvet bow!

We had a girls night out at Murray's last month and saw Pajama Tops. Super cute show and we had a great time together!








For some reason Aunt Bettie didn't make it into any of the pictures!

Oh Christmas Tree

We went to Mary's Place the day after Thanksgiving and picked out the perfect Christmas tree! It is BEAUTIFUL!!! We spent all afternoon and most of the night decorating it. Around 10:30 when we only had a handful of ornaments left to hang it fell completely over! The girls and I were frantically taking ornaments off because every time Todd would get it to stand up it would fall again! They were devastated!! Camryn said, "This is supposed to be the happiest time of the year and this isn't happy at all!" We got the mess cleaned up, put the girls to bed and Todd went and got a new stand. As he was putting it together it broke! By now it is 11:30 and we are sick of the tree and exhausted so just decide to go to bed. We got a fancy metal stand early the next morning and finally got it all beautiful again!

Merry Christmas Eve 2012

I can't believe it is here! It's so fun that Christmas is on a Tuesday because we can drag it out over the weekend! Our celebrating started Friday night at Jan Jan's house and will go till next Saturday at Mamaw's!!
Last night the girls talked me into letting them open a present today. They woke up at 7:24 ready to rip into one from Daddy!




A pink BB gun! Now they will have to watch A Christmas Story!
After a French toast breakfast Laynie took Kennedy by the hand and said, "Let's have a tea party Kendady." So sweet!

The girls have been playing outside ALL day - shooting the BB gun, swinging,  and sliding...not sure how it is going to snow tomorrow!!
