GO HOGS!

Kennedy and Daddy cheering on the Hogs at War Memorial. Aunt KK and Patrick were there too and stopped by to say hi! Daddy was so proud of his girl calling those Hogs!

15 months!

Laynie you are 15-months-old and I cannot believe it! I was watching you sleep last night and you look like such a big girl in your crib! You are still a great eater and love a variety of vegetables and other foods! Your favorite vegetable is spinach and you will eat it right of the can. Your favorite fruit is strawberries. Tonight you ate roasted broccoli, roasted red potatoes, spinach, and lemon pepper grilled pork chops (for lunch you had shrimp et tu fe)! I don't know too many girls your age that eat like that! You go to bed around 7:15-7:30 and usually are up by 8:30 but if you are in bed later than normal you have been known to sleep till 11:00 on more than one occasion! You are talking more and more each day. Some of your favorite things to say are mama, what's that, Joe, and ball. You let us know what you want by pointing, grunting, and unfortunately lots of time just plain fit throwing. You definitely have your own little opinions and know what you want. The other day at Kroger I put you in a regular buggy. You spotted the blue ones that have the steering wheel and couldn't believe I didn't pick that one! It was quite funny so today when we went of course you got to ride in the special more exciting buggy! Separation anxiety is back again and when we drive up to church you start whimpering and cry when I leave you. Your teachers say you don't cry for long though! Aunt Magan babysits you on the two days I work and if you are up when I leave in the mornings you cry and cry and cry. You do fine if you wake up to me gone. The other night we saw her at Target and you started bawling. Anytime she comes over to visit you cry too until you figure out I am not leaving. Tara and Robby were your extended session teachers last Sunday and when they came over for dinner Friday night you tuned it up when they walked in the door...I thought that was pretty smart for you to remember them! Such a good memory you have! You are super friendly and when we are out people always stop and let me know how adorable you are! We had your check-up last week and you were 21 lb (21%), 31 in (68%), and your head was 18 1/4 (64%). These are some pictures I took of you today while you were playing in your room. You are such a little busy bee and would go from one thing to the next! You started out playing with your ball popper
Another favorite thing to do is empy out your diaper basket
Just looking cute!

I guess it is just her age but Camryn says some pretty funny stuff! The other day she blew her nose on a Kleenex with virus protection (the ones that once they get wet little blue dots appear). Well Camryn used one and asked me what that blue stuff was she was blowing out of her nose!

"Duh"

Camryn, you asked me last night if we could say duh. I said, "No, that doesn't sound very nice." Then you told me that your popcorn word for this week was "duh" and asked why Mrs. Ray was teaching you how to spell a not nice word. I told you she was not saying "duh" she was saying "the"...OH! You said!

Laynie's Birthday Cookie

I came across these videos of Laynie eating her birthday cookie. She was going to make sure she got every lick off her little fingers!

Blue and yellow day at school! Camryn, you now know how to spell red, blue and yellow!

First Lost Top Tooth!

She came home from school looking like Nanny McPhee!

Kennedy lost her first tooth on top last week. It was her second tooth to lose in 2 weeks! The tooth fairy left her $5 for each and a blowpop. She even left Camryn one under her pillow! Camryn said, "The tooth fairy is nice, isn't she?"

Just Me and Mommy

Now that the girls are in school Laynie and I have lots of time together! We went swimming today and had a good time just the two of us! My new work schedule is Wed/Thur so I always have five days off in a row to run errands, cook, clean, do laundry and just hang out with my girls!

Love that precious little face!
