Mamaw got you all matching dresses for your birthdays this year! Mommy has such pretty girls!

4th of July 2011

We had a super fun 4th of July weekend! Friday night we headed to Lake Degray to meet up with Holli, Allen and Anderson to stay in their new camper. It was lots of fun! We came back Sunday and then Monday morning got up and went to Aunt Debbie's for a cook out and swimming. Late Monday afternoon I met up with Magan, Kelsey, Timothy and Mom at Family Fest for the recognition/honor of Daddy. I went back to Aunt Debbie's and we went and watched fireworks in Benton and then came back and shot some of our own. Our super cool sunglasses from Jan Jan! Even better because they have a peace sign! Kennedy is all about those these days.
The City of Bryant hosts Family Fest every 4th of July weekend. Daddy was always the head honcho for this so he was honored by the city at this years production.

Laynie, you have a lot of fun playing with Kennedy and Camryn's purses and cell phones
You also enjoy playing with their Bitty Babies. You were waiting on everyone to get ready to go to Aunt Debbie's!

This sparkler is bigger than you are!

We all went to see the fireworks in Benton and then came back to Aunt Debbie's for more fireworks!
Laynie fell asleep coming home and slept through most of the ones we shot

We brought cotton candy for all the kids. After Laynie woke up she snatched someone's!
Yummy! Mommy didn't get me any!
Heading to the lake to meet up with Aunt Holli, Uncle Allen and Anderson

All 3 girls loved tubing! Even Laynie! I didn't have my camera so missed getting pictures. She would laugh and laugh!

Laynie Walking

Laynie, you started walking right after your first birthday! You are all over the place and we have to keep a close eye on you at all times! You still love to go in Kennedy and Camryn's room and check it out. You open their closet door and get all the toys out and have a great time messing things up!

Kennedy's Baptism

Kennedy, while we were getting ready for Bible School on Thursday June 16th, you told me that you asked Jesus into your heart the night before. I was really excited and asked you what that meant and you said, "I made Him the boss of my life." I told you that was right and then just waited to see if you would keep talking about it and tell other people as well. That night as we were reading our Bible story I read the phrase Jesus is your Savior. You asked if Jesus is your Savior after you ask him to be in your heart because that is what you did last night. We talked for about 30 minutes about what it means to be a Christian and I answered all the questions you had. The following Wednesday afternoon we met with Mr. Heath Bryant, our children's pastor at church. He drew you a neat picture of Adam and Eve, sin, and the cross and explained what it meant to be a Christian. He told you the next step was to walk down the aisle during the invitation to make your decision public and then to be baptized. We let you decide when all this would happen and you walked down during on the following Sunday. You wanted to be baptized that night but Mr. Heath was out of town on a mission trip so we talked you into waiting until the following Sunday, July 10th.
Magan brought you a gold diamond cross necklace and gave it to you before your baptism. You love it and told me today you were going to wear it everyday for the next 600,000 days! After church we had a celebration here with desserts! Lots of family came to celebrate with you! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you and have been praying you would make this decision before you were even born! We are so blessed that you are our daughter and can't wait to watch you grow in your faith and see all that God has in store for you! We love you very much Kennedy!

Kennedy and Lauren Reece. You both got really nervous right before it was time for the baptism so played a game of rock, paper, scissors to see who would go first. The first game was a tie and then you won the second so you chose Lauren to go first!

Checking out the water! You were so surprised that it was warm!

Mr. Heath and Kennedy

Mommy's life long prayer has been answered! I always knew you would accept Jesus as your Savior at a young age.
After church we came back to our house for a celebration!

Of course you wanted a chocolate chip cookie cake from Harps!
Nona and Papa couldn't be prouder!!!!
