Letter Factory
Leap Frog is ingenious for developing their Letter Factory movies! Laynie does not care for them, however! I don't want her to lose her skills this summer so for the past few weeks "Tucker has to learn his letters" each night before bed! It's worked like a charm so far and tonight she even reminded me that he had to learn his letters when I announced it was bedtime! Looks like Daddy and the Peter Rabbit crew joined the party tonight!

Kennedy's 11th Birthday Party
Kennedy celebrated her 11th birthday with a sleepover!
Our big birthday girl! She wanted to wear her new outfit Aunt Magan got her!

A Day In The Life Of Us
Summer break is in full swing...today was day four! Several weeks this summer I am only working 3 days so we make the most of my days off!
Carrie and I started running again this week. We got up at 5:50 and hit it!
Todd has become quite the coffee drinker these days. He gets up a few minutes early and enjoys a brew while catching a little of Fox and Friends. Maybe one day I will grow up and be able to enjoy this experience with him!
Camryn's sweet friend Sidney spent the night with us
Our big 5-year-old decided to wake up!
On our way to see Tomorrowland. These girls started a book club this summer and are reading their first book. They read and read - even on the way to the movie!
And walking into the movie!
Kennedy was with us but is not pictured because she snuck in the front seat!
A kid favorite around here and oh so budget friendly!
After lunch we headed to the pool, I didn't get any pictures but got this cute one before heading in
Laynie's FAVORITE show is Peter Rabbit. She had a special delivery today! She had some Amazon birthday money and bought Benjamin and Lilly to go with Peter (which she has named "Petey") that she got from Gram and Poppy
We actually had Thursday night dinner on a Thursday night this go around! It was the Dennie's turn to host...Mexican casserole, refried beans, rice, salsa, cheese dip, and blueberry cobbler with freshly picked blueberries! All so delicious!

Happy 9th Birthday Camryn
For the first time ever Cam had her very own birthday party! She wanted a sleepover with cupcakes from Sugar Dumplings instead of a cake. We got some yummy cookies too!

Mama Day
My off days have been coined "Mama Days" by Laynie. I am soaking up these last moments before she is off to kindergarten! Last week she asked if we could get a purple milkshake on Mama Day. She has never been to Purple Cow and I had planned on going to Sams anyway so after our shopping we enjoyed lunch and a milkshake!
This week she wanted to go to the library and Burger King and play on their playground. Mrs. Amber took her a few weeks ago and she said they had "the best chicken nuggets in your entire life" so I have been anxious to try them out. Must have been a new "cooker" today because she ate 11/2 and said they were horrible....hmmm. And the playground was under construction!!
We came home instead and she she said we could watch all 5 movies we checked out from the library! We started with Holly Hobbie. Tucker is enjoying the movie too!

Riding in the stroller to get big sisters is so much fun!
I'm sure Tucker enjoys Mama Day as much as Laynie!
