The McGuire Family: July 2012

Happy 2nd Birthday Laynie! At age two you love to sit on the potty, wipe and flush but no tee tee or poo poo yet! You love to read books (Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See, Numbers, and Good Night Moon are your favorites!), you have a very big vocabulary and are talking in short sentences, you are very strong willed and want things your way or no way! You want to do everything your big sisters do, you love to play outside and can swim like a fish! You love Elmo and Dora but won't watch them on TV! Every morning you climb up on the sink with me and help me put on my make up. You go to bed like a champ and are having a harder time giving up your high chair than your pacie (I never would have guessed that one)! You get very upset when I forget and say go get in your high chair and it is no longer in the kitchen...yes, you climbed in and out of your high chair all by yourself. You can make a mess quicker than I can clean them up! You love all of your toys...and Kennedy and Camryn's too! You love your friend Lucy and your cousins Anberlynn, Anderson and Micah. You are very sweet and loving and Mrs. Amber tells me you get along wonderfully with your Monday and Thursday friends! She says you are so quiet and such a sweetheart! You love "hopsicles" and will say "pa-pa-pa hopsicle!" You ask for them 24-7. You also enjoy apple juice, chicken, strawberries, blueberries, avocados, applesauce, icecream which you call "ice," Gram's cookies, and ALL other desserts! We love you to pieces and these past two years have gone by so fast! It has been such a blessing to watch you grow into a spunky little toddler!

Your room

We had a "Melmo birthday party this year! You saw this paper at the Dollar Store and started saying Melmo!!! We had to buy it! While you were sleeping I decorated the door to your room!
