Laynie you play so well while Kennedy and Camryn are at school! I think you enjoy having all the toys to yourself. This morning you gathered as many purses that would fit on your arm and proceeded to vacuum the living room!

Happy 100 Days of School!

Kennedy and Camryn are 100 days smarter! Today they celebrated the 100th day of school! I just can't BELIEVE how fast the year is flying by us! Camryn even got her cute little picture on a $100 bill! Kennedy made a hat too but the little stinker wouldn't let me take her picture in it!

Fun at the Park

We are enjoying our mild winter so much! While the girls were at school a few weeks ago Laynie and I headed to the park with her neighbor Lucy! We had a chicken nugget and french fry picnic and then played and played! Lucy's mom came and got her after a bit but Laynie was no where near ready to leave. I think we stayed for almost 3 hours! She had the best time! She loved sliding, swinging, riding in the police car, picking up the dirt and just running around!

Off to School

Sweet girls off to another day of 2nd grade and kindergarten! This school year is going by way too fast for this momma!

The girls were pretending to be waitresses...for sure not pretending to be their Mommy!

18 months

Laynie, you turned 18 months on December 7. You are growing so fast and are getting too smart! You love baby dolls, purses, shoes, your pacie, juice boxes, brushing your teeth, taking baths, playing outside and having your fingernails painted. You will go to the bathroom and always get the same pink polish bring it to me, sit at my feet and hold out your hands. It is the funniest thing and you sit still and let me paint all 10 of your nails! We then ooh and ahh over how pretty they are! You recently discovered the gum in Mommy's purse and will chew it wrapper and all! You are still an excellent sleeper and go to bed around 7:00-7:30, sleep until 7:30 the next morning and take a morning and afternoon nap!

Laynie got a cute little make up kit for Christmas. It came in a handy little wooden box! She loves playing with it!!! But..she recently discovered a new use for it! She gets it out of her toy box, positions it just so under her dresser and uses it as a stool to reach her "sashas" (pacies)!

Notice those tiptoes! She almost has it!

All the pacies come tumbling to the floor!
She picks out the one she wants...
Cleans up her mess...
And places them back where they belong hoping nobody caught her in action! She then repeats the process several times a day after mama makes her put her pacie up!

State Capitol 2011

Every year we take the girls to the State Capitol to look at the pretty lights, see the huge tree and decorations inside, ring the bell, and see the Nativity. Then we head to Krispy Kreme for donuts! I remember going to the capitol every year when I was a little girl so wanted to continue the tradition with our girls! Kennedy and Camryn always want to be the one to push Laynie

For some crazy reason Camryn wanted to lie down and look up at the lights!

Camryn's Kindergarten Christmas Party

Camryn had a fun Christmas party. They had lots of yummy treats, played games, read How the Grinch Stole Christmas and made reindeer food! What a fun way to end the day before Christmas break! Luckily Camryn's party was at 9:30 and Kennedy's was at 12:30 so I was able to attend both. I ran home in between parties and forgot my camera for Kennedy's! She had a fun one too though. They also had lots of good treats, made reindeer food and had a book exchange!
