We had a girls night out at Murray's last month and saw Pajama Tops. Super cute show and we had a great time together!








For some reason Aunt Bettie didn't make it into any of the pictures!

Oh Christmas Tree

We went to Mary's Place the day after Thanksgiving and picked out the perfect Christmas tree! It is BEAUTIFUL!!! We spent all afternoon and most of the night decorating it. Around 10:30 when we only had a handful of ornaments left to hang it fell completely over! The girls and I were frantically taking ornaments off because every time Todd would get it to stand up it would fall again! They were devastated!! Camryn said, "This is supposed to be the happiest time of the year and this isn't happy at all!" We got the mess cleaned up, put the girls to bed and Todd went and got a new stand. As he was putting it together it broke! By now it is 11:30 and we are sick of the tree and exhausted so just decide to go to bed. We got a fancy metal stand early the next morning and finally got it all beautiful again!

Merry Christmas Eve 2012

I can't believe it is here! It's so fun that Christmas is on a Tuesday because we can drag it out over the weekend! Our celebrating started Friday night at Jan Jan's house and will go till next Saturday at Mamaw's!!
Last night the girls talked me into letting them open a present today. They woke up at 7:24 ready to rip into one from Daddy!




A pink BB gun! Now they will have to watch A Christmas Story!
After a French toast breakfast Laynie took Kennedy by the hand and said, "Let's have a tea party Kendady." So sweet!

The girls have been playing outside ALL day - shooting the BB gun, swinging,  and sliding...not sure how it is going to snow tomorrow!!

Here We Go Again!!

Laynie your Sunday School teachers have been telling me that you tee tee in the potty each week. You also have been getting notes sent home from school saying you went to the potty! Daddy and I have been trying to potty train for several months with no luck! You would sit, wipe and flush but nothing else! A few weeks ago I decided you needed to start wearing panties so I went to your drawer and picked out a pair with cute little kittens on them. We put them on and I told you if you tee teed on them they would bite (I did pinch the inside of your leg and your bottom a little pretending the kitty cats were biting you). It worked!! You have been using the big girl potty ever since! Dry naps and some dry nights too! Now we just have to master the poo poo...

Todd got his grandparents dining room table and hutch passed down to him when we got married. We recently had it painted and it looks totally different!!

Camryn's 1st grade class took a field trip to Heifer Farms in Perryville Monday and she had a great time! She learned all about giving to the less fortunate and even contributed some of her money to help by a goat and a few chickens for a less fortunate family. And she even got to milk a goat! She thought it was pretty cool that I drank goat's milk when I was a baby because I couldn't tolerate cow's milk. Daddy, however, thought it was disgusting!! After the field trip she and Todd went to the movies and saw Wreck-It Ralph. She said that was her favorite part of the day!




She asked the night before if she could wear her hair in a side ponytail for her field trip!
