Philadelphia
We took a quick trip to Philadelphia May 5th-8th. It was so much fun and we enjoyed staying in the Lee's beautiful new condo, touring Philly, attending a Phillie's baseball game, going to the Please Touch Museum, swimming and just spending time with our good friends! Laynie, you stayed home with Aunt Magan and Aunt Holli. I did miss you and hated not spending all of our first Mother's Day together but we crammed so much into 4 days I think you would have been miserable!
We left Thursday right after school!
Camryn and Daddy playing ping pong!
You girls had so much fun here! It was sooo cute and I for sure want to go back with Laynie when she gets a little older!
Alice in Wonderland
Playing doctor! This was my favorite area of the museum. Ya'll were so cute!
The grocery store was also super cute!
Checking out Philly!
The line to see The Liberty Bell was really long so we just viewed it from the window!
While Kristen and I went into some shops Daddy, Kennedy, Camryn and Maci toured Betsy Ross' house
Daddy and I toured Independence Hall while Kennedy, Camryn, Maci and Kristen went to play at the park
They were in the process of remodeling the outside of Independence Hall

Checking out the view from our bedroom
While we were at the Phillie's game, Holly babysit you girls. She put ya'll to bed and couldn't find Ruff Ruff for Camryn. Camryn found this fur pillow and thought it would be a perfect replacement for him! I almost died when I found out Holly let her sleep with this pillow! Camryn, Ruff Ruff is completely bald because you have pulled all his fuzz off while you go to sleep and suck your thumb. When Ruff Ruff is not available you find something else with fuzz or fur and pull on it! Luckily, the pillow was still in perfect condition when we got home!
Sunday for lunch we went to Geno's and Pat's for Philly Cheese Steaks before heading home. We wanted to try both and since they are across the streat from each other we got a few from each. Genos won hands down!
Watching the men work!
A view from the plane window!
We could see all the flooding
Preschool Zoo Trip
In honor of "Z" week, Camryn's preschool class took a learning journey to the zoo! Sorry that you stand out in all the pictures Camryn! I am notorious for forgetting to put school shirts on you and Kennedy for field trips! This was also Laynie's first time to visit the zoo! She liked it but did have to fit her morning nap into the our zoo schedule. Since I had 2 kids and a stroller to keep up with and had already paid for zoo tickets, I just left my purse in the car. When we got back to the car the driver door was opened and my purse was sitting in the passenger seat untouched! Camryn, as I was getting Laynie out and into her stroller, you climbed over to get out on my side of the car and forgot to close the door! That could have very easily been an expensive zoo trip for us!

Rainy Movie Day
It rained today for the first time this summer so Kennedy declared it pajama day. The girls are used to playing outside ALL day (I had to drag them inside at 8:45 last night) so today was a bummer for them! Anderson came over so I put Aladdin on and popped them some popcorn. Laynie was fit to be tied that she was not part of the movie date so I got her a little popcorn and let her join them! I do counsel my patients at their one year visit on all the choke foods: grapes, hotdogs, hard candy, peanuts, POPCORN but...the screaming was about to do me in!

Snow Round 2!!!
The Pinnacle trip and snow did happen pretty close together, however! We were super excited about our first snow of the winter but then we got this big snow! So much fun!
Basketball
Kennedy decided she wanted to play basketball so we signed her up through The Center at Bryant. We had no idea that she would be on an all boy team! She was such a trooper though and her only complaint was that the boys would never pass her the ball!
