Snow Day!!!

Kenney's excitement is precious to me!

We had our first snow for the season yesterday. It started snowing around 2:00 pm and snowed all day! I went to bed at midnight and it was still coming down so I am not sure when it stopped! We got about 6 inches! No school or work today! Kennedy is out of school tomorrow too! The girls got out to play for a bit yesterday and have been out twice today! They love it! Laynie has been sick so she only got out for a quick second! There was so much snow on the ground she couldn't sit up...it kept making her fall backwards! Aunt KK and Jan Jan made the snowgirl with them! I am trying to talk them into making one for our yard but no luck so far! Amanda and Aunt Carolyn brought Iain, Ella Grace, and Anslee to Holli's house to play in the snow since Lake Village didn't get much. The girls had a fun time playing with their cousins. Well, Laynie never cought on to what the big fuss was about! Maybe next year!

Marriage Message

I submitted one of Camryn's funnies from last year to Parent Life magazine a few months ago and she made the cut and ended up getting published in the January, 2011 issue! She got $20 for her cuteness! We went shopping at Target and she bought a Rapunzel doll and loves, loves, loves brushing her hair. She plays with her everyday and even sleeps with her sometimes!

You all spent the night with Aunt KK before Christmas and she decided to take some pictures of ya'll. They turned out so sweet. In a few years Laynie will be joining the slumber parties!

One of my favorite parts of the day is unpacking the kids backpacks after school. This is what I found in Kennedy's today. So sweet!!!

We had our annual Christmas party with the Dennie's and the Pennington's at our house Saturday night. 9 kiddos in all with one on the way and 6 adults is always an adventure! The kids all draw names and exchange gifts...Laynie got baby food, Camryn got an art set and Kennedy got Fuzzoodles. The adults each make a salty and sweet and we have a fun time eating and watching the children play. They have the best time! It is always fun taking a group picture of the kids! It turned out really cute though I think. Laynie wore the Santa outfit that Kennedy and Camryn each wore on their first Christmas. Of course she looked adorable just like they did!
