A Day With Laynie

One on one time with the girls is so much fun! I was off today and Laynie didn't have school so she was my little side kick. I had to wake her up this morning to take the big girls to school. When we got home she played while I did a work out video. Afterwards, we played babies until it was time for me to shower for our got haircuts. Afterwards, she said she was really hungry so we had lunch at McDonalds. After lunch we ran errands...we stopped by Sugar Dumplings for some local honey (she didn't want a cupcake - only a lollipop), went to Lettas's to get our vase filled with flowers for Camryn's "babatism" party, took the flowers home and then went to Target to get ingredients for Oreo Truffles, and then to Harps to get her cake. We went home and started the truffles until time to go get the girls from school!

I told her we would go anywhere she wanted for lunch and it was hands down McDonalds! ALL my suggestions were vetoed!



























Her goal for the day was to buy a lollipop "like Letter Factory" - lollipops are hard to come by in Saline County so this bag of Blow pops from Target had to suffice!

I celebrated my 37th birthday working and then lunch with Todd and Laynie at the revenue office getting my driver's license renewed! When I got off work Todd had a cake waiting for me! Didn't quite turn out how he expected but it was super yummy!



Now off to Sushi Cafe! Can't wait to introduce Todd to it's deliciousness!

5th and 3rd Grade

Kennedy starts 5th grade today and Camryn 3rd. I just can't believe it! 

Aunt KK came over the last night and gave everyone manicures and pedicures! 

She also brought them bubble gum necklaces and a present! 

This is the last year these 2 will be at HCE together!

Last Beach Day

So sad our vacation is coming to an end! We comforted ourselves with Donut Hole donuts for breakfast!

                                              Camryn found a hermit crab which I accidentally packed in the suitcase with ALL the clean clothes! I found it in their bathroom and thought oh that's a pretty shell, I'll take that one home. Unpacking was not pleasant! They die and get stinky rather quickly.

Beach Day 6

We spent all morning at the beach and all afternoon at the pool. We had to drag these girls in at 6:30! They met a girl from Texas and spent the entire afternoon swimming and talking to her. We stayed in and made tacos tonight and then went to Blue Mountain Ice Cream for dessert. Afterwards we went hunting for crabs and caught TONS! Laynie fell asleep in my lap sitting by the shore. What a peaceful way to end a perfect day! 

                                We have been so blessed with beautiful water each day!

 Hot tub family selfie. You have to be 16 to get in the hot tub and the girls were devastated upon hearing this! No one was in it so we let them soak for a while. Camryn is not our rule breaker and was so nervous!
