I LOVE that these girls don't think they are too big for dress up! We were getting ready to go to the pool one day and I guess I was taking too long to get Laynie ready so they found a way to entertain themselves!

Laynie had sooo much fun on our beach bike rides. We just got Todd's bike all tuned up with a Laynie seat added! He took her on her first ride yesterday and it was terribly hot! They came home and her face was as red as a beet! You would have thought she was doing all the peddling! She went to the refrigerator and said, "I want some water Momma!" They will have lots of cooler bike rides coming up soon I hope!

1st Day of School, 2012

Today is the first day of 1st grade for Camryn and 3rd grade for Kennedy. I always get so sad on the first and last days of school! Camryn has Mrs. Humpries (who Kennedy had for 1st grade) and Kennedy has Mrs. Benson. She started the GT program this year and all the kids in her class are gifted and talented. We are really excited about this! I heard 3rd grade is tough so this summer she learned her multiplication tables and I introduced her to some cursive writing. I know she will do great!


Open house was last Tuesday night! I think we have really good teachers this year!

Happy 4th of July!!!

We celebrated the 4th of July at Aunt Debbie's having a hotdog and hamburger cookout and swimming! No fireworks due to the burn ban...the girls kept hoping for rain all week! We still had fun though!

The Wonder Place

We went to the Wonder Place to celebrate Laynie's birthday. Great fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAYNIE!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Laynie! At age two you love to sit on the potty, wipe and flush but no tee tee or poo poo yet! You love to read books (Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See, Numbers, and Good Night Moon are your favorites!), you have a very big vocabulary and are talking in short sentences, you are very strong willed and want things your way or no way! You want to do everything your big sisters do, you love to play outside and can swim like a fish! You love Elmo and Dora but won't watch them on TV! Every morning you climb up on the sink with me and help me put on my make up. You go to bed like a champ and are having a harder time giving up your high chair than your pacie (I never would have guessed that one)! You get very upset when I forget and say go get in your high chair and it is no longer in the kitchen...yes, you climbed in and out of your high chair all by yourself. You can make a mess quicker than I can clean them up! You love all of your toys...and Kennedy and Camryn's too! You love your friend Lucy and your cousins Anberlynn, Anderson and Micah. You are very sweet and loving and Mrs. Amber tells me you get along wonderfully with your Monday and Thursday friends! She says you are so quiet and such a sweetheart! You love "hopsicles" and will say "pa-pa-pa hopsicle!" You ask for them 24-7. You also enjoy apple juice, chicken, strawberries, blueberries, avocados, applesauce, icecream which you call "ice," Gram's cookies, and ALL other desserts! We love you to pieces and these past two years have gone by so fast! It has been such a blessing to watch you grow into a spunky little toddler!

We had a "Melmo birthday party this year! You saw this paper at the Dollar Store and started saying Melmo!!! We had to buy it! While you were sleeping I decorated the door to your room!

"Melmo" was our theme this year! You have an Elmo toy that you can dress and he talks to you. You love him and always asks to play with him

Aunt Magan, Uncle Tim, and Tierney brought this in and you were instantly hooked!

 

You thoroughly enjoyed your birthday cupcake! Thank goodness your birthday outfit from last year still fit because you were one huge mess afterwards!
