Movin' On Up

While I was checking my email today Laynie somehow managed to crawl under the table in the living room. I didn't want her to bump her head ~ which she does on a daily basis, so I pulled her out from under it and sat her on the floor with some toys. By the time I walked across the room and checked an email she was at my feet. I have no idea how she got there so quickly...I missed it! She is only crawling backwards but she made it all the way across the room forwards in a matter of seconds! I put her back where she started but she wouldn't show me how she did it. Little stinker! Tonight when I was reading Kennedy and Camryn a bedtime story Todd called me into the living room and she had pulled up onto the table...7 months old and already pulling up! She was determined to get the slinky Santa left in Kennedy's stocking and she got it! This is the first time she has pulled up! It is on now and she will be taking off before I know it!

Laynie's First Rice Cereal

I waited until Laynie was 6 months old to introduce solids. We started with rice cereal and she did pretty good with it! She is still nursing like a champ and is growing so big! Stats from her 6-month check up: Weight: 15 lb 6.3 oz (39%), Length: 26 in (62%) and Head: 17 in (72%). She has been sitting up since 5 months, loves playing with her toys, laughs and babbles constantly and of course wants to be right where Kennedy and Camryn are.

Daddy's Deer Camp

Holli came up with a great idea to start having a family dinner at deer camp opening weekend. So off we headed for a hot dog and chili dinner. Todd hunts with Allen, Allen's brother-in-law and one of Allen's friends. We had a good time! We just stayed for dinner and the campfire and then me and the girls spent the night with Holli and Anderson. Maybe one day we will brave the whole night with the boys!

State Capital

Every year we take the girls to the Capital and let them enjoy the lights, tree, nativity and bell. This year Kristen and Maci went with us and afterwards we went to Krispy Kreme for donuts and hot chocolate!
