Snow Days!!

Our snow days were filled with lots of good home cooking (chicken and dumplings and The Pioneer Woman's cinnamon rolls all in one day!) and then beans, cornbread, fried potatoes, cabbage, turnips, and Mexican casserole at Gram's the next day! We watched Christmas movies, played in the snow/ice, made s'mores in the fireplace with our next door neighbors, Kennedy and Camryn went duck hunting with Daddy, went out to eat, had a bunking party at Maci's, and did a little Christmas shopping. We were all so sad to go back to school and work today!



We had lots of time to enjoy our pretty tree! So far this year it hasn't fallen over...

Laynie and Lucy

Laynie, you and Lucy have been big buds from the start! I will never forget taking a pregnancy test late one afternoon and then going out to the front yard to watch Kennedy and Camryn play. Carrie immediately came over and told me she was pregnant! Of course I had to tell her our new news as well! Lucy was born that May and then you came along in June! Y'all play together everyday
and are very best friends! Yesterday we were in the backyard and Lucy came out to her treehouse. You saw her and threw your hands up and said, "Lucy! I have been looking for you all day!" She said, "Hang on Laynie, I'm coming!" So cute!
