Kennedy had her first softball game tonight...a tournament and they won 4-1! Her team is Explosion and she LOVES it! Back at it tomorrow morning at 9:00!
We didn't go on a trip this year for spring break but had a fun, busy week with friends and family! Friday night was kicked off by Kennedy, Camryn and Anderson spending the night with Aunt Magan and then going to the St. Patrick's Day Parade! The leprechaun came to Magan's house and left treats, personalized notes and even balloons with her footprints on them. Monday night Kennedy and Camryn spent the night with Gram and Poppy and of course made chocolate chip cookies! Tuesday cousin Kaiti turned 5 so the girls went roller skating for the first time to help her celebrate! They had a great time and now that is their new favorite hobby! Wednesday we planned to go to Pinnacle Mountain but it rained and rained and rained so we did a replay of Dolphin Tale at the Rave (their favorite movie so that worked out perfect!), lunch at Larry's Pizza and then jumping at Party Central. This was Laynie's first trip to "the jumpy place" and she had a BLAST! She kept up with the big kids and LOVED the big long slide! Thursday I worked so Laynie went to Amber's and Aunt Kelsey took Camryn to Playtime Pizza. Kennedy spent the night with her friend Claire and they went to the zoo. She is still talking about the zoo's chicken nuggets and sweet tea...the best in her whole entire life she says! Who would have thought??? Thursday night Claire spent the night with us and then her mom came and got her and Kennedy Friday morning and took them to Popeye's Chicken for lunch and then bowling. We made Resurrection Gardens that afternoon and then met Gram and Poppy at Cafe Prego for Gram's birthday dinner. Afterwards we came back to our house for Oreo birthday cake! When the birthday celebration was over Kennedy and Camryn went to Mallory and Kaiti's house for one last slumber party! Saturday morning they got donuts and went back roller skating then to our house to play outside! Today we topped off their break playing with neighborhood friends in our backyard! Whew! I am tired!!! Getting ready for a fun night!
The girls each wrote the leprechaun a note:
And left her a snack - apparently she likes peanut butter!
We played outside all day today and are enjoying the spring weather so much! I took these sweet little pictures of Camryn...she is holding dirt by the way!
So Laynie has climbed out of her crib twice now and landed on her head! Both times it happened as we were going to rescue and rock her...last night as Todd was opening her door to get her she was falling out and then this afternoon at nap time I witnesses it! Needless to say getting the toddler bed out of the attic was a necessity today! She has always been great going to bed but the past few nights it has been a challenge! No tears so far tonight though...I do hear her playing in her kitchen now. Not sure how she is seeing because it is pitch black in her room! I am sure she will give it up soon - after this adjustment we are throwing away
the pacifiers!

When I think of Laynie, this is one of the images that comes to mind! Give this girl a pacie and Lovie and she is a happy baby!
