The Country Life

Last month my mom took Kennedy to Lake Village to see my grandmother and aunt, uncle, and cousins! She had a great time. Kelsey and Patrick took her fishing and she got to ride with Uncle Carl on the combine. She learned about growing and cutting corn in school a few weeks ago and knew all about it!

Zoo Fun

Tuesday Laynie and I went shopping for fall/winter clothes and Camryn went to the zoo with Aunt Holli and Anderson. They had a great time! These pictures crack me up!

4 Months Old

Laynie is 4 months old today! I can't believe how much you have grown in 4 short months. You are talking and laughing up a storm now. Your first laugh was at me last week. I was holding and talking to you in the rocking chair and then started bouncing you up and down. You chuckled twice!! Last night I was holding you and Kennedy was behind the couch and kept popping out saying peek a boo. You thought this was HILARIOUS and gave her the biggest belly laughs for about 5 minutes! You still love your swing and bouncy seat. You don't like tummy time but will stay on your tummy for about 1 minute and then are ready to roll over. You can almost roll over by yourself. You love watching Kennedy and Camryn and talk to them all the time. They are still eating you up and Kennedy is even ready for another baby she told me last night. I guess you are growing up too fast for her too! You are now going to bed much earlier - around 8:30 and will sleep until around 7 or 7:30. Gram is now keeping you on Monday mornings and Aunt Debbie keeps you and Wednesday and Friday mornings while I work. We both like this much better! Here are your stats from your 4-month check up! Weight: 14 lb 3.7 oz (59%), Height 25 in (73%), Head 16 1/2  in (72%). We have been so blessed with such a happy and healthy little girl!

We went to Fayetteville a few weekends ago and visited with some of our favorite friends, the Silvey's and the Greenfields. Kennedy and Todd went to the Razorback game and Camryn, Laynie, Olivia Grace, Annalyse, Carter Wayne, Sawyer and I stayed at Brent and Leslie's and played. Leslie did have a sitter and Jo Ann's mom was there to help too! We had such a great time even though the Hogs didn't beat Alabama!

The girls are loving the cooler weather and being outside more. This is what they were doing the other day. Even Laynie and Joe are enjoying the beautiful fall weather!

Kennedy is cheering for the Future Panthers this fall and is having a great time! They cheer on the sidelines on Tuesday nights and then Saturdays do a routine in the middle of the field at half time.

So serious! This was her first game. She cracked me up chewing that gum. She is much more relaxed now and smiles!

Mommy: "Camryn guess who is coming to see you today!"
Camryn: "Who?"
Mommy: "Aunt Holli and Anderson!"
Camryn: "Does Aunt Holli know I have school today?"
Mommy: "Yes."
Camryn: "She sure is smart isn't she?"
Mommy: "Yeah she is."
Camryn: "Is she smarter than you?"
Mommy: "No we are the same smart."
Camryn: "Well, she isn't very smart then!"

Camryn started gymnastics at Leah's Tuesday and LOVES it! I cleaned out closets earlier in the day and she found these black patent shoes and had to wear them with her leotard! One of Kennedy's old teachers is still there and was so excited to see Camryn. She couldn't believe how big she has gotten and said she did great! I guess after watching Kennedy for 2 years that is what happens!
